This post is mostly for the benefit of @whatisnew, who was concerned about my spider-stomping habits. LOL This is the spider that lived in a web at a top corner of our basement door. I have allowed it to live there in relative peace. It left for a few days and, upon its return, rebuilt its web toward the center of the door frame. It was easier to dodge it when it was in the corner; now we have to remember to duck. It was busy with its latest catch this evening.
