Hello everyone, today i have decided to bang out a video. I wonna know what you guys would think about SPinvest putting out a weekly video through 3speak? It would cost just under 30 STEEM per month but would introduce us to a new platform and maybe raise our profile. I have no problem putting out a weekly video but don't be expecting a nicely edited with extra fancy stuff, it'll be me talking to my phone for 10-15 minutes. I would aim to cover the main 1 topic in detail and have 3-4 other things quickly to update on are mention. I'm 99% sure i can control y swearing and i might even get a crown to wear as a gimmick. lol, but prob not. Anyways, give the video a watch and share your thoughts, please.

How many additional SPI would have to be sold to generate 30 steem a month; how likely is that to happen through 3speak; how long is it likely to take? And

25 SPI's is 30 STEEM, which is 1 STEEM per day. I dont know how long it would take as i dont use 3speak.
The 5% cushion is part of the 6-18 month plan so no, we have not done that yet.

I've just noticed that you've said Discord - I'm not able to use discord at present and it's not very transparent or inclusive. Is there any reason that it can't be a club vote through @spinvest-votes?

We could do club vote but based on the comments and feedback i have got so far, nobody understands what 3speak is so should we really do a vote?
I never thought about doing a vote for something like this, i only suggested the discord poll cause it is quick and easy and only club members can view the spinvest-votes channel on the discord server so only members would have access to the poll.
And why cant you use discord? forget your password?
Just as an FYI. SPinvest is set up semi-decentralized for a reason. I understand that not everybody knows what I'm talking about all the time and getting members to vote on stuff they don't understand is pointless and will lead us to bad places. Sometimes you'll just have to trust my judgment and hope i keep us on the right path.
From my experience with SSG and running other projects in the past, i can 90% of time tell you the result of a vote before the post is launched. Im not saying i know what people are thinking but i understand the crowd mentality. If 1 person is standing in the middle of a busy street looking into the sky saying he sees a space ship, others think he/she is crazy but if 20 people are standing in the middle of a busy street looking into the sky saying they see a space ship, others will join in as they can't believe that so many people would be wrong. I could have worded that better maybe, lol.
Point is, we don't need to vote are everything and sometimes feedback is enough to get a feel of how the club memebrs are thinking. Plus and big plus, condradsuperb looks to beable to produce 1 vote at a time which takes a week and we've already got a few idea's for votes in the works so it might be 2020 before we would have the time to do this.
I wish we could talk on discord through DM sometime, we could talk about everything you wonna know and i would more than happy to download on the info i have in my head about SPinvest into yours? I love that you ask loads of questions, keeps me ontop of my game but sometimes......... baaaaa-hahahahaha. Joking

I have never done anything with 3speak so I am not sure if it is worth the 30 steem per month or not. Trying it out on d tube might a good one first to see how it goes as you would get new folks watching there as well, and if you get good results then try 3 speak. Anyway that is my 2 cents worth.

I can't upload video's to dtube, i have tried in vain from its launch. It always get to around 20% and freezes.

Yep, ditto and that exactly how it is for me as well. It could be the internet browser we use. I use chrome but have recently switched over to brave. I've already gave up on dtube so im not trying it again, it's already burned me to many times, lol
