I just joined STEEM and I can surely say I am quite thrilled that I did. There are a lot of opportunities as I recently learned from all the comments in my introduction post yesterday. There seem to be a number of decentralized apps which users are able to use to post, comment, engage, and build community value altogether.
I've been poking around trying to learn as much about this new space as possible. There simply isn't enough time in a day to browse through everything in order to grasp it all. This is definitely going to take some time, but I am in no hurry as this is a long-term game. I intend to look ahead to the future and keep a long-term vision in mind by staking STEEM and taking advantage of STEEM POWER's ROI for powering up. I came across a post by @preparedwombat yesterday as I was reading through my feed that explains this concept quite well.
A project @spinvest, recently introduced to me by @conradsuperb, does exactly that. The account uses the STEEM sent from investors to power up and create an investment portfolio with rather favorable returns. As I am aware, the @spinvest account earns passive income via filling steem power delegations, which pay out in liquid STEEM. Investors also become share holders of the accompanying SPI tokens associated with the investment club, which are going like crazy right now.
I have been reading up on posts from @spinvest, and think I will consider becoming a member of the club myself. Most projects are created with an idea in mind but no real substance exists to support the project moving forward. SPinvest does not fit this category. There is real substance, there is real support, and there is real backing. When @conradsuperb introduced this investment club to me, I was immediately intrigued. So much so that I immediately bought in to the project by purchasing 500 SPI tokens directly from the @spinvest account.
