Things that happen in the physical/material world, good or bad as circumstances change over time, automatically affect our spirits, causing us to experience emotions that could range from restless and anxious hatred to calm and serene love.
Our spirits are full of emotions connected to physical world events. And we’re certainly not alone while we’re tied to each other in pairs or small groups, through family and friends, religions, occupations, communities and larger governments to where entire countries pit themselves against each other or ally with two or more joining forces against one or more others.
We also try to dampen our spirits at times if emotions we’re experiencing cause so much anger, rage and hatred that we might bring harm to people we care about or our spirits could even become self destructive to where we might hurt ourselves through arrogant recklessness or indifferent carelessness. No one truly has total control over their own spirits. If anyone had complete control of their emotional/spiritual state, they would need to control everything going on in the world and universe for that matter, in a way that would allow and produce the desired emotional and spiritual results in themselves.
Why would anyone choose to feel anger or disappointment that turns into physical/material world violence as compared feeling deep appreciation and love for everything inside and outside the earths atmosphere as provided by nature or altered by humans?
Or, why not go for the ultimate in the romantic sense where mutual love compels physical actions that trigger fulfillment through a euphoric sense that all is right with the world and everything is as it should be for as long as that moment lasts?
And so it is for the animal world filled with human and otherwise spirits seeking contentment by indulging themselves in various predator/gatherer, industrious farmer/cultivator activities required to keep us physically, psychologically and spiritually healthy, reasonably safe and alive, where we sometimes have choices to love or hate - as has always been the case going all the way back through eons, to where spirits first began imposing their will on each other and this physical world.
