I decided yesterday to make my own website/blog with the posts from Steemit from the previous weeks and months.
Thanks to @steempress-io I will post on atmos.black in the future and it gets automatically posted here on the Steem blockchain. Awesome!

Besides my regular articles, you will also find my new "Mystical Mentoring" offering there and many new ideas will also find their new home soon.

If you always wanted to know my short backstory - the making of Atmos Black 😉 - you can find my new introduction here: https://atmos.black/living-truth-who-is-atmos-black/

For all my readers things will stay the same - everything I write will be posted here, because I love discussing and interacting with you guys and I'm still devoted to the Steem blockchain more than ever!

Love and Blessings,

Atmos

That's an interesting move @atmosblack. I've considered doing the same thing my myself but I think my website is a bit outdated now and I'm not sure I have the time to update it.

Worth thinking about though. 😊

I'm quite experienced with Wordpress, but it also took me a day to set the website up. On the other hand, you gain much more freedom with your own site and you can always decide, whether you want to publish stuff on here too.

My main focus is on Steemit now @atmosblack so I'm not sure if it's worth it to resurrect my old site. It is a wordpress blog but would need updating if I wanted to post there again.

I'm not sure what the advantage would be. I need to think about it. 😊

I'm so glad you did that. I had made a plan this weekend to connect steempress to my existing blog on one of my websites this week. I've delayed because the particular site I intend to use is one I've intended to update the theme on for over a year, and it seemed silly to relaunch the abandoned blog there with the old design still. But I decided that I had to do one or the other this week, and picked adding the steemit articles, because that's so much easier. I guess we are once more in a type of sync LOL.

I really like the look of your site. It fits the name. I regretted not seeing a picture of you, honestly, but I guess you're not the picture on the internet type. 😁Congrats on getting it done.

Yeah, you can also set a delay on the posting - so that your blog gets indexed first. Luckily I'm relatively quick with WP and building websites. I'm glad I chose the Newspaper Theme - I can really recommend it!
The adding of the Steemit articles was quite a burden, but it worked out in the end....

And about the picture: Yeah, you are right. I'm not the picture type at all. Of course I thought about adding one, when I realized, that I don't even have one! 😁 Maybe I think of taking a picture of me once, but since I don't consider my optical appearence that interesting, it will be hard to remember 😁

You're funny. Say, are you on discord? I'd like to chat with you about something, but not on the blockchain.

Sure! I'm not on discord, but you can get me on Telegram - t.me/atmosblack

Just wrote you

Very cool!

It has kind of a calming effect on me to see someone else creating a website AFTER having found Steemit. I too post my articles on my website and used to promote it via facebook, which was quite sucessful, yet ever since my facebook account has been deleted in February, page traffic has admittedly waned significantly despite the fact that there had been many regular readers.

I guess this was owing to the fact that people were simply used to open their facebook page and scroll down their feed and then click at that which caught their eye. But searching for articles or websites dedicated to this spiritual topic beyond facebook apparently seems a bit cumbersome for people.

Regardless, I too post my articles on my website, simply because I like opening my website on the one hand, on the other hand who knows if it might be of great use one day. :)

I am sure yours will be successful no matter what! :)

Thanks! It took me several hours to copy all my Steemit articles over to my blog, but all in all I built the website from scratch in just one day (including my fancy new Atmos Black logo :D) and I'm quite happy with the result too.

And about Facebook: I stopped using it beginning of this year and I never looked back. I mostly had german readers anyway and this audience is not really used to deeper spiritual topics. On the other hand, I just had a session over Skype with a woman from Germany who found me through my German blog on Medium - so I keep it up for now.

Let's see where this will lead us...

Oh, and as a quick tipp: I started using the eSteem Surfer app two days ago - this is a standalone app for Steem and it's blazing fast - you have to try it!

Thanks a lot for the esteem recommendation. I stumbled across it recently but didn't install it. Now that you have so good words for it I give it a try! ;)

Awesome work, I've been meaning to make a blog of my own. One thing I'd suggest is mentioning your experience with Gene Keys and whatever else in your mentoring section. Nice work!

Thank you @jakeybrown! Yes, I already thought about it, but at the moment I don't want to stick to structures in my sessions - on the other hand, people love structures - so I'll think about it....
