The Wisdom Will Flow When You Listen To H2O

in spirituality •  7 years ago  (edited)

H2O is the shit.

Yeah, I know...random thought.

But hey... it’s true!

It’s my favorite substance on Earth.

water.jpeg
Yulia Sobol @ysobol

I can drink it and feel energized.

drink.jpeg
Jez Timms @jeztimms

I can boil it to cook my food.

boil.jpeg
Soroush Karimi @soroushkarimi

I can shower in it to feel fresh and clean.

shower.jpeg
Seth Doyle @sethdoylee

I can swim in it to exercise my body.

Martin Sattler @martinsattler

I can freeze it to keep me cool.

Colin Rex @colintrex

And so much more...

H20 is clearly the bees knees, isn’t it?

As I was thinking about it more today, I realized that H2O is like a wise spirit.

It gives and provides us so much, and if you pay attention to it...

You can learn a lot from it…

The Wisdom of H2O

H2O is always in a state of change, just as we are.

In fact, the only constant in our life is change.

For H2O that change comes in three different forms: water, ice, and vapor.

Each of these forms are very unique to each other and represent very specific qualities.

I believe that if we paid more attention to H2O, we could consciously utilize the qualities of these three forms when we need them the most in our lives.

H2O can teach us so much… if we pay attention to it.

H2O Teaches Us To Flow

Regardless of what the circumstances are, water always finds a way to flow.

H2O teaches us the art of movement and flow.

flow.jpeg
Jeremy Bishop @tentides

Such as a pitcher of water...

When it is poured into a glass cup, the water automatically flows to fill into the existing potential space.

It doesn't have to think about what to do, it just flows there.

The water finds the most favorable position for itself by remaining fluid-like.

Now what do you think life would be like if you were fluid-like?

Water teaches us that we can find the most favorable life experiences that exist in each and every moment.

By letting go of our rigid expectations and beliefs, we can feel into each moment and flow into life as it changes its form.

How wonderful would life be if even the worst of times could feel fulfilling?

Have you ever thought that?

Can you imagine living a world where you felt alive and free, regardless of your circumstances?

free.jpeg
Kalen Emsley @kalenemsley

How incredible would that be?

I believe that water teaches us that we can have this ability.

We can live in a flow-like state.

We can truly fit the form that we are provided with.

Water teaches us that we are incredibly versatile and fluid beings.

When we embrace this nature, it doesn’t matter what is happening outside of us…

We just need to remember our natural ability to flow through it.

H2O Teaches Us To Remain Strong

What happens when the world gets too cold?

Water strengthens into the form of ice.

H2O teaches us how to find true strength even during the harshest of times.

freeze.jpeg
Felix Russell-Saw @frsphoto

Ice is an incredibly strong substance.

When it is cold, ice rules the roads.

It’s strong enough to weld a door shut tight.

frozen2.jpeg
James Peacock @jimmyp9751

It’s powerful enough to freeze over a lake.

ice.jpeg
riciardus @riciardus

And stable enough to remain in a perfectly solid form.

form.jpeg
Colin Rex @colintrex

When we find ourselves in situations that push us to our edge, ice shows us that we can remain stable and strong, regardless of how difficult or intense the conditions are.

Ice shows us that we are more powerful than we think.

Each drop of water that connects and freezes, shows us the collective power that is available to us.

When we join forces and work collaboratively, we can form the strongest structures and foundations on planet earth.

Sometimes in life, we just need to hold strong, and H2O teaches us that we are fully capable.

H2O Teaches Us To Let Go

When things heat up and begin to burn down, water begins to dissolve into a gaseous form.

H2O teaches us the art of letting go.

let go.jpeg
Brunel Johnson @brunels_world

H2O knows that it cannot hold onto every experience forever.

It knows that there is a time of new beginnings and endings.

When those endings come, vapor knows when to let those experiences go.

In our lives, we often find ourselves in situations that end unexpectedly.

Sometimes, we try to to hold onto them… whether it be marriage, a business, a dream, or a lifestyle.

But with every beginning, comes a time to end.

leaving.jpeg
Mantas Hesthaven @mantashesthaven

Vapor shows us that it’s okay to let go of who we are in order to find ourselves in a completely new way.

It shows us that by letting go, we aren’t a failure, we’re just changing form.

gas.jpeg
Laura Lefurgey-Smith @lauralefurgeysmith

It’s this change of form that allows us to lift up from situations that may feel rigid, stuck, or scattered, and move into an entirely new world, with an entirely new set of circumstances.

By embracing our ability to let go, we create space within our life to find the space and the lightness of heart to embrace our next experience.

Sometimes, we just need to let go and H2O shows us that it is okay to do so.

When In Doubt, Follow Nature’s Lead

Some people say that there is no instruction book for life.

While that may be true, it’s my belief that the keys to living a fulfilling life are hidden in plain sight.

By merely observing the simplest things in life… such as water, ice, and vapor, we can learn so much about ourselves.

Humans may still have a ways to go before we truly figure it out.

On the contrast, nature seems to already have its shit together.

Sometimes I ask myself, what would happen if we paid more attention to nature?

focus.jpeg
Martin Sattler @martinsattler

If we did, we might find out that we have the ability to flow regardless of circumstance, to strengthen during the harshest of times, and to let go when it’s time to move on.

Embracing these qualities allow us to live a more fulfilling life.

And a life that reflects the true nature...

Of who we really are.

Do you feel like life is similar to H2O in your own experience? If you were to pick one form that you feel you are experiencing right now in your life (water, ice, or gas), what would that form be?

I also know that water is alive and has got memory . In its crystallized form it reacts with the surroundings and our thoughts. Amazing

Yes! I've read emoto's work before. Truly amazing stuff eh? The prayer crystals are fascinating to me! Thank you so much for sharing this and resteeming friend :)

seriously this face makes my day!

Hi @axios, this is a very enlightening reading for me at this moment. I am now in a state of ice. I should turn to gas to let go but I wanna hold my position as ice now.

And the best when you concluded that If we pay attention to nature, we have the ability to flow regardless of circumstance, to strengthen during the harshest of times, and to let go when it’s time to move on. Wow Best of the Best. Have resteemed and upvoted.😊

So glad you enjoyed this @ainie.kashif! If you're in a state of ice, maybe you could transition to water? Is there a way to have more fluidity with your thoughts? I there a way to let your rigid thoughts and beliefs flow in a new way? Once you get to water it's easier to get to vapor ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the very kind words :)

Honestly both of us write about positivity and our mind just click together. That's awesome right 😊. I have a stubborn ISTJ personality, will try to melt to water form 🤔. Forgot to mention... your photos selection here just match to the story... super

What if you had a fluid ISTJ personality, would that change things for you? ;-)

I just say that because we can label ourselves any way we want! We may think in different ways but we define what that means for ourselves... And that meaning is always changing.

Thanks for the feedback about the photos. I've been hearing positive things so I will keep including them in posts :)

Hmmm I dunno, have been stubborn throughout my life. I really am very stubborn and hard headed type, sometimes I could not control this stubbornness, it overpowers my calmness. But it only appears on a certain matter that is very personal to me like a relationship, family, and friendship. I am most of the time very professional in my character during my work time. Perhaps it was chosen by my inner self who was trying to save me from harming myself due to my innocentness. I can change right. I hope I can.

I hear you there @ainie.kashif. It's good that you're honest with yourself and where you are at. You can't get to where you want to be unless you first accept where you are!

Incredibly clever and insightful. You brought forth a great deal of wisdom from this often underappreciated substance. I also love how it is the universal solvent, and like it, we can absorb and hold within us the things we enjoy and that we want to be a part of us. It's strength is not just in the ice, but it's persistence has infiltrated and eroded canyons, teaching us to persevere in the face of insurmountable odds, and to let our presence reshape situations. My favorite part of water is how it is the only fluid to expand as it transitions from fluid to solid form, it's crystalline form capable of breaking apart and moving those solid objects that threaten to hem it in. We indeed to could learn a lot by studying the secrets of water and applying them. Excellent post!

Thank you will do friend

Hey axios, nice post, water is an incredible substance and I like how you compare it to our existence. I've only been in "flow state" a few times, but those times were the best of my life and they were nothing out of the ordinary in regards to my activity at the time.

Btw, heard of Viktor Schauberger? Check him out I think you'd find his work, and related work, really interesting.

I agree. The flow state is something else!

And I have not heard of Viktor... thanks for the rec - will check him out!

interesting post

thank you @bangjuh

very nice post about Hydrogen mono xide:)

thank you @kamchore!

@axios great post! I'm in awe of how water can be the most nurturing yet most destructive element. I love this dichotomy and that's why water is my favorite natural force :)

Yes it truly embraces ALL aspects of life. Thank you!

Just wow! So many different ways to look at H20.
Beautiful is the way our brains can look at something we take for granted in so many different angles....
