I really do wonder sometimes what needs to be confronted and what needs distance how why and when.

I find that generally everything needs distance invariably it all comes down to believing that the limitation of form is unlimited.. that there’s something outside of ourselves that can make us happy or sad or angry or depressed or frustrated.... Yet the truth is to some small degree it all can which is probably why its impossible to fully let go of it, the problem lies in the fact that it’s small compared to the beauty of within yet when situations arise its so easy to exaggerate the obvious, forget and allow the spiritual ego to try to resist something that at some level you’ve entertained a little bit too much or have at some point in your life which could be for a whole host of reasons or even multiple contributory causes happening at the same time even though the effects are and will always be finite

Personally i believe that in the first instance once emotions are out of control for whatever reason distance is most definitely the wisest move. I don’t think it’s possible to process anything really when your not in a state of peace. By placing distance and remembering how takes time. I think by allowing whatever to come up be there even though it seems to be something that you’ve entertained at some point. When you realise that’s its not something you want anymore, this realisation; that you don’t want it anymore can easily cause resistance and lead to a vicious circle. This is where you have to try to conciously embrace it which in my experience is the only way to recover. Inbetween the brief moments of quiet is where concentration is key. To be able to concentrate on anything for periods of time is the key to being in control even if what your concentrating on is concentration itself.

Once you have settled is when you can start to try to process what was coming up.. is it similar to other stuff that’s happened recently? Can you try to feel what you were feeling in order to help fuel the analysis of what is causing emotional instability. At first i find analysing stuff quite simple and basic yes it was fear or it was something i thought would pacify me for a finite amount if time... then you start to go deeper then the questions become endless and levels of enquiry become deeper. Don’t think you can process anything until you’ve asked the right questions and been completely honest with yourself. If you can’t be honest with yourself which I believe is a fundamental step towards growth why not? Whats stopping you what do actually want from life and what is the best way to find balance. Until your thoughts emotions and actions are alingned it can be difficult to progress i think what i have written here helps to align them.

At the end of the day we’re human and we have emotions without them what would we be. It seems that the only way to find the beautiful one’s is to conquer the one’s we perceive to be negative. Yes judgement of them all can be unhelpful and nothing lasts for long anyway. Except love
