Surprise, all religion is the same.

My name is Devi.

My goal is to share and bestow wisdom; and to encourage infinite intellectual and spiritual growth, to the best of my abilities. I in no way claim to be in any state of grandiosity, I merely exist within my realm of perception and experiences, as do you. My only hope is that through some of these experiences I can aid those around me.

The works I will feature are my attempt to describe varying concepts and ideas within the realm of my perception and understanding at this time. I always welcome and encourage discussion surrounding any such concepts and notions; please never feel as though your own perceptions are being invalidated, or that my ideology is strictly bound in any way.
As with anything, this will be a work in progress. We are infinitely expanding beings that are superseding ourselves with each and every moment. Similarly, my conceptual pursuits shift and change, as well. This will more or less be a compilation of concepts; something that I create to be able to be reflected on, and to reflect back unto.

At this time, I would like to introduce to the perennial philosophy, which works upon the notion that all religion is inherently formed surrounding the same fundamental nature. This implies that through each spiritual or religious denomination, or non-denomination, we find ourselves circling the same conclusions, although doing such through an alternative "perspective" or, grouping of terminology and ideology. The principles that are found within the core of each spiritual understanding can be brought back to the same core understandings, and I urge you to take a moment to release yourself from the ideological box of your preferred flavour of spirituality, and allow yourself to explore.

Only you create your truth.

There is a very intriguing notion that is known as the “Blind Man and An Elephant Parable,” which speaks to the underlying concept that each person may grasp a different part of a metaphorical “elephant,” and obtain a very different understanding of the experience.

Primarily, this is noted in the sense that one may grab the tusk, and proclaim, “What I grasp is sturdy, smooth, and rigid! It is abrasive!”

While another, holding onto the tail may argue, “No! What I hold onto is soft and featherlike, very light, wispy, and gentle!”

This speaks to the preconceived notion that what we hold is different; or that their understanding of the holding is wrong. This, in itself, is a dangerous and detrimental mindset, in terms of the ability to flourish within that understanding.
Nothing is inherently wrong. It is entirely the connotation that we, ourselves, attach. The associations that we create.

What we are holding is our perspective, we are existing within our realm of understanding, which is a key principle, and must not be forgotten. We, ourselves, exist as extensions of one-another, we reflect each other, we grow and strive together and, simultaneously, most importantly, we can begin to flourish together.

Let's create something beautiful.
