    I think it was Ibn Arabi how said "Retreat brings Knowledge of the world and Travel brings knowledge of the self"
    I will check out Yogasutra by Patanjali ... thank you
    I read the most mind blowing commentary on the Upanishads recently don't remember the name of the author but Ill look it for you Im sure you would appreciate it
