Path to Spirituality | Part 2

Well before moving ahead, it would be nice to understand, why am I sharing my experiences on Spiritual Path (Read it here). To understand the continuation, read part 1 of the series.

So as you learned from my previous experiences from experiments, there were good amount of time it hit, but there were some instances where it missed too. What I could conclude is these experiments are not full proof, they may succeed sometimes, sometimes may not. And with that said, it might vary from person to person. After all they are experiences. And this question lead me to this website article at SSRF INC. And there on I went thru many articles of theirs, seems they are trying to do a lot of research on Spirituality, and that’s what they are named, Spiritual Science Research Foundation. Coming back to the article, it mentions about destiny and free will. And when I tried connecting dots with the experiments I did, I could actually relate it; as I mentioned earlier, few of them were hit and few of them were misses.

I was heading towards believing about Karma, which decides the destiny. Well it is debatable, that how shall I believe in Destiny and Karma. If there was every moment predestined then why are we even living this life, let it happen as its predestined. How is hit or miss related? what I believe is whenever my experiments missed, they were destined, and hence I couldn’t have much control over it. Well all such questions lead me to an audio book (which I will first write more blogs about and then name it in later blogs), but it made me believe about Karma and Destiny. Talking about facts, according to Newton’s third law of motion, every action has its equal and opposite reaction; Karma in sanskrit means action. For every positive actions you will have a positive reaction, and that for negative, there will be negative. (You will read my blogs, which connects the dots between the science and spirituality, I do not have any proof for that, but if you are still looking for proofs and facts, read this blog of mine once again.)

Universe works mysteriously, to balance every action, it keeps records of every action, and revert it back to the one who acted up on it. – atomicbeat.

After reaching to US, I had an unstable mind, which was most of time in thoughts of back home in India, homesickness had made me unstable. In a way it helped my mind focus more on meditation and keep my mind stable. Hence I used to meditate for long time.

From the times I was in India, I was and I am still associated with Shivyog, and have been following the meditation techniques taught by H.H. Dr. Avdhoot Shivanand. And had taken his course even in United States. Most of their meditation camps are related to cosmic healing – for body, mind, soul, farming etc. Cosmic Medicine also is a study recently introduced in India, and hence Avdhoot Shivanand was awarded Doctorate for that by D.Y.Patil University. Moreover their meditation camps are also related to positive outlook towards life, feeling happy, thought manifestation etc. These are not the only things one learn, but there is lot to learn. And makes you seeker of knowledge, the true knowledge, the knowledge about self.

I had become a seeker of knowledge and hence I used to meditate daily for at least 1 hour, sometimes more than an hour. I used to have various experiences every time, moreover there were some questions which came through and got answered (which I will share in my upcoming blog posts), mostly because I was seeking to learn more about my self, and so it resolved during the meditation itself. Suddenly one day, with my eyes closed in meditation, I saw a beam of light, right between the eyes on the forehead, not sure it was my mind playing with me, or it was an illusion, or it was reality. From that day on, I was trying to solve this mystery, and as I mentioned some of questions got resolved while sitting for meditation, I learnt my true self was a light energy. And that also remind me about that old man, who I thought 10 years ago, was saying something out of the world, made some more sense to me.
