“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 NIV

my thoughts on the word.png

The Lord Jesus Christ when He was on the Cross crucified, He absorbed all the sins of mankind and He bore them on the Cross. The Weight of our sins was on him on that day. The Bible even mentioned that , He became sin for us to become the righteousness of God.

In response to His sacrifice, we should live also for Him, for He died for us. We should die to sins, meaning sin has no more influence to us. And we should live for Him alone, not to gratify this sinful desire in our flesh.

Then and only then, we could represent Jesus on earth. When we consider ourselves died to sins and living for Him . Let us bear His righteousness here on earth for He bore our sins on the Cross.
