I am getting a lot of requests from people all over the internet in different places to teach how to live more in the moment and less outside of the moment. So here you all have it, I am going to write this article to help those in need who have a difficulty with this process of loving their self.
Center Yourself
First we are going to cover how to center yourself in a situation where you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, hyperactive or maybe you just feel depressed or off balance. This exercise is simple and can take from a half minute to 5 minutes tops. This depends on what your needs are in the moment. I personally practice this technique at least 2 times a day.
- Sit, stand, or lie comfortably . Now that you are in position place your fingertips together so that your palms do not touch, but all five digits on your gingers are touching. This will ensure that the energy flow is able to circulate freely . See Picture below.
- Breathe. Just breathe and listen to your body's reaction to these emotions. Visualize the feelings as water. Is it anger? Araging tidal wave? Is it anxiety? White rapids in a river? Is it depression? Murky swamp water? all of these emotions can be visualized as water for all emotion is one with the element of water.
- Calm the waters now. if the water is already calm, but murky or muddy, then clarify it. Use the visualization of a full moon floating in the sky, calming the waters as the beams of the moon's light shine upon the ocean surface. Continue to breathe. feel the energy circulate through your finger tips while you calm the waters, and use that calm to calm your inner being.
- This last step is important above all else.. Repeat to yourself out loud or mentally.. " I am worthy of unconditional love. I am loved." Repeat this affirmation 3-12 times until you either believe it or until you are fully calmed. Now say, " I am one. I am whole. I am Centered. I am Loved" as you visualise yourself and feel yourself become calm and at peace with yourself.
Some people may completely skip the visualization of the water and the moon calming the waters. You can also just feel and visualize the energy blasting through all of the blocked off and slowed down energy fields in your body. this will ultimately allow you to redirect your energy flow for more energy efficiency in your body.
