Sukhanya saw the Wind god, who had difficulties with carrying the radiance and was walking like a pregnant woman. She was mocking his moves and could stop laughing. Therefore Wind God cursed her to be born on earth - as a human and as a monkey!
With this curse he also gave her energy of his tapas, as well as some radiance that he was holding.
Now she had to be born at Bhoo loka to pay for her sin, to undertake tapas. And get ready for becoming a significant part of the Hanuman's glorious birth.
