I recently was listening to an interview with Rob Bell. Rob Bell is this amazing Pastor who is not only gay, but also believes in helping out humanity. His unorthodox ways of teaching about spirituality caught my attention.
In the interview, one of the things he talks about is how religion is the moral arc of the universe bending towards justice.
This got me thinking. Then everyone has a religion.
Whether we want to believe it or not, I think that spirituality is within all of us. Even if you don't call it religion or spirituality... It's that feeling within you, that when you are going through a tough time, it's that feeling that is telling you to keep going. Even if that is all you have. That is still something quite big because you didn't give up hope.
The ones that push through the darkest of times and listen to that voice, the voice that tells you to push through and keep going because your life is so much bigger than the current circumstance you are in. The ones that do not give into the voice of doubt and fear, those are the ones that get everything that they ask for. Even when it doesn't seem like it, sometimes justification for what you want starts with surrendering and learning lessons from the moments that knock you off your feet.
