Rules of any successful relationship

Hi All,

We all have some relationships in our life. But how these relationships works, what are the rules to have smooth relationship and not to break it? Please note that my post is not limited to husband-wife or girl-friend boyfriend relationship, these rules are applicable to all relationship be it parents-child, siblings or friends. If one of your friend do something or say's something which is bad or not true respectively in your eyes, then what you will do? Do you break your relationship with him? So I think what we should always remember are some rules to understand the real reason or meaning of the act or sad words of other.

1. First thing is do not react on the spot. Give yourself sometime to recall again what your friend did or said something then ask your self why and then jump to second rule.
2. So the second one is benefit of doubt. Think deeply that he really did this or was it just a rumor or some miscommunication and if it is not then give him benefit of doubt that try to think about the circumstances and the reason why he did this. He might under some exceptional circumstances because of which he did so. Do not assume your self that he did something without any reason or do not create reason of his act in your mind
3. After all this give him reasonable opportunity of being heard. Do not start blaming him. Do not say straightaway why you did this. First ask him have you did this and if you find yes then ask him why you did this, listen his point and reason, then judge the reason is justified or not.
4. Lift up and see behind the veil. Whatever you see is not true always and what is always true you cannot see with the physical eyes. you have to open the eyes of you mind and heart , put yourself in somebody's situation then only judge someone. Always remember a Judge spend so many years to decide the case and to know whether a person is guilty or not then only he is liable for punishment or acquittal. Think your self the Judge is so much qualified then us still he spend so much time to judge someone and we just in a few seconds makes opinion about someone. How can you judge someone in just a one meeting. First impression is NOT last impression.
