Watching the 'garbage men' at work this morning Esteban asked me what they were doing. I explained how everyone in our village puts their little garbage bags in the big bin and this is collected by the men once a week.
He sat and pondered this for a moment as I opened his drawing pad, flicking through its pages to find a clean one.
"But where does the garbage go?" Esteban asked.
I smiled with the realisation this is a really advanced question for a three year old and in truth I had no idea what the answer was.
Handing over a blue biro and red felt tip, I tapped my finger on the blank canvas before him.
"Show me!" I said.
The first thing he drew were the mountains in which we live and then, to demonstrate the routes of each 'garbage truck' he violently swirled and swirled at the page for three minutes with the blue pen before carefully drawing a red circle in the middle. He only just learned how to draw circles last week.
Where does the garbage go?
I know I am a bias father but isn't this a completely awesome instinctive visual answer to my request!
You can really feel that energy building in the middle.
What I find particularly interesting about this morning is the way in which he is already asking the kind of hard hitting questions most of us live our entire lives without ever asking. And he was able to answer his own question through an expression of art.
Love this kid!
Love them both!!
This is his sister Luna who is also doing great things. She is just one and yesterday I watched her pick up her brothers shoes, delivering them to him at the play park just prior to the moment he started complaining that the ground was too hot for his feet. Intuition is truly an amazing thing.
One other observation this week is Esteban's ability to know that his sister has woken from her nap before we do. She sleeps in the bedroom while we all sit outside and she cries to let us know she is awake. Only now we have Esteban who always announces first that "Luna is scared" moments before she starts to cry. It's so beautiful to see this connection they have. This connection WE ALL HAVE.
Love & Light, brothers & sisters

I genuinely really like this drawing, the contrast between the smooth lines and the rugged ones and the contrast between the blue and red.. It has a hint of a mandala and reminds me of a plasma ball, a lot of energy.. Perhaps Esteban is like a little Nikola Tesla 🤔

Am glad you enjoy the drawing as much as I do. Genius stuff.
Now wouldn't that be interesting if he was the next Tesla. He will most likely be the only child in France to learn about Tesla & free energy in 'school' ;)
Sending hugs bro :)

You definitely get my upvote - it's beautiful to see intuition in action - brings immediate gratitude and helps us nurture it in ourselves. Your children are darling - remind me of my grandchildren. A close connection with them as babies makes for an everlasting grandmother bond in my heart. Thanks - keep on being you. Momz
