Spiritual Journey

Better Late Than Never Mi Familia!!!

A mala is worn by people for various reasons. In Hinduism, it might represent spiritual practices, a symbol to an individual reminding them of their spiritual journey, or to ward off evil and negative energies.

Similarly, thousands of years ago, people in Latin America and areas of Asia believed in the "Evil Eye" and many still do. Many individuals wear it to protect themselves against malice, misfortune, and negative energies.

In Christianity, a Cross or Crucifix is often worn to remind individuals of their spiritual journey and in 12-Step Programs, you often see a circle with a triangle inside of it.

Spiritual beliefs and practices might differ across cultures, but one's spiritual journey is a personal one. Remember, it's not always about a burning bush. Most of the time it's the educational journey that matters.

Thought for the day: Let's continue to grow spiritually, one day at a time. Destination is not always more important than the journey we walk. You can do this without me, but I can't do it without you. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

Peace and love to all
