As you can see we still have a whooping 1,252,743 UNTAMED Booster Packs left for sale. At first glance that looks like allot of boosters for sale. If we take a second and third glace, IT Still Looks Like Allot Of Boosters For Sale BUT ......

That's 1.25 million left of 1.5 million. UNTAMED hasn't been live for no more than just a few days and Roughly 250,000 Boosters sold. Lets put that in perspective.

That's right, Look at those numbers. What do you see?? (I can tell you what I see) UNTAMED sold (almost) as much boosters in its current short life span as Alpha had in its entire supply. The current (12/02/2019) amount of UNTAMED Boosters sold also equal to about 30% of the total supply of BETA boosters. To me those numbers are nothing short of amazing.

I know what you're thinking, @rentmoney UNTAMED had a Kickstarter. While that is true, its also true that Alpha had a Kickstarter as well.

The First KickStarter

Lets take a walk down memory lane and look at the first Splinterlands kickstarter and how it benefited those who participated.

At the time the first kickstarter took place the Splinterlands game was called Steemmonsters and the kickstarter itself managed to get 274 backers who pledged $88,171.

The first kickstarter offered Alpha Boosters and exclusive cards that would only be available via the kickstarter itself. Just like the UNTAMED kickstarter, multiple levels of entry were possible (the higher the pledge, the greater the rewards). Lets take a look at some of those packages and the current value of each in today's market.

Stats From The First Kickstarter

As you can see some of the past Kickstarter participants had their pledge value returned to them FIVE times over. Its too early to know such information of the UNTAMED Kickstarter but we do have some stats to look at. The second Kickstarter promoted physical items and introduced us to the UNTAMED edition of cards. On the official Kickstarter webpage it shows 334 backers pledged $202,159.

CORNEALUS Official Lore

The large, floating eyeball monster known as Cornealus has strange magical powers and can see anything for miles in any direction. No one knows from whence it came.

Right out the gate this Legendary card stood out to me and the fact that it has two abilities that I'm already familiar with was the icing on the cake. Cornealus might be my favorite card in the UNTAMED edition.

PYROMANIAC Official Lore

The Pyromaniacs are a growing tribe of creatures (mostly Human) living outside the city of Azad in the Burning Lands. They have all migrated to the Fire Splinter as religious zealots, but they are also extremely dangerous. They must be constantly driven back from the city walls by the Torch Guard. The Pyromaniacs' love of fire drives them to set many things ablaze, just because they can.

The above card is an epic in the fire splinter but that's not why I like it. Looking at this card It gives me the vibe of a sneaky villain in a horror movie and I can just imagine a hit movie as PYROMANIAC being the main villain.

LONE BOATMAN Official Lore

Covering the dirtiest work in the land, the Boatmen are an extremely important piece of the Khymian societal machine. They manage the fishing and seafood industry, but also maintain the boats and control all InterSplinter trade. Boatmen are the only Khymians to live consistently outside the mountain walls. Sadly, when Khymeria is attacked by outside forces, the Boatmen are the first to know. They are however, a physical force to be reckoned with.

Never underestimate the lone boatman. I'm not sure why but I like this card. Sometimes we just like things and we don't have a specific reason for why. ..... This is one of those times.
