Please follow these steps:

signup on splinterlands.com using your Email ID(This is my referral link and if you login thru that, I will share some monsters with you).
Then, you need to purchase spellbook on the same website under Shop link.
Now, you are set to go, you can practice initially and then jump into ranked battles and eventually tournaments.
Game is simple, you need to select a summoner to call the monsters for battle and you need to select a max of 6 monsters based on the MANA cap for each battle and based on different battle types.
