Ride the peak,
Ford the stream,
never speak,
Always dream.
Carry doom,
Fight for love,
Wrath will bloom
From above.
The Peakrider
Splinter - Khymeria
Set - Beta
Class - Legendary Summoner
Size - 110 Chickens. Within the huge bulk of shining armor is a person who is only slightly larger than average. His steed is much larger, at approximately 240 chickens.
Lifespan - The Peakrider (as he is called in the Splinterlands) is only visiting in this realm. It is merely a brief stop in his long, long life. His true name is Regword, the Angel of Wrath. He comes to the Splinterlands from the Realm of Angels, and it is there that he must one day return, perhaps even before his Splinterlands work is complete. The fiery steed on which rides the Peakrider is called Boroloxo; it is an extension of the Peakrider’s consciousness and lives as long as he does.
Habitat - Since descending to the Splinterlands, the Peakrider has settled in the wide-open Tower Mountains of Khymeria. Back on Solaki, a man could work his entire life and never gain access to that kind of seclusion. His needs are few and his time is long. He always wanders alone through the mountains, waiting to stand as protector. Against what, we do not yet know.
Weapon - In the short time the Peakrider has been in the Splinterlands, a world of lore has already developed around his weapon, which gained instant fame when he first brought it to the Mount Mox Arena. It is called the Scythe of Skyllvoth, and ever since the War of Sons and Daughters, it has been wet with the blood of more than a thousand warriors. Now, the Peakrider is able to carry this legendary weapon of bloodshed as a mere tool of intimidation; he has yet to need to use it against anyone living in the Splinterlands. Lately, instead of violence, he has enjoyed flexing his magical muscles as a Summoner in the Grand Tournaments.
Diet - The Peakrider enjoys a natural diet, rich in mosses, roots and mushrooms. Since moving to the Splinterlands, he has found most of what he needs on the grounds of the Khymeria Highlands, where many of the same plants and fungi grow as on his homeland of Solaki. There are also a wide variety of Khymian provision trees growing in the hills, which provide berries, melons and fruit jerkies. It is also known that he does not think of meat as food. When the Gloridax ministers of the Tournaments attempted to bring him a victory platter of pork and bunglo, the Peakrider threw it back at them angrily, covering both of the gentlemen in barbecue sauce. They did not make the mistake again.
Allies - The Peakrider has not yet made his specific loyalties known, other than that he is a protector of Khymeria. He does not make deals, and he does not waste time with any kind of talk, unless it is absolutely necessary. The Angel of Wrath is a powerful stoic who can see through lies. He fights for the pure and unadulterated truth, and the truth will be glad to have him in the looming conflict.
Enemies - While it is clear that the Peakrider has no trust nor love for the Gloridax, they may be a mere nuisance to him as he awaits his true enemy. He scoffs at the Lord of Darkness and his twisted ideals, but allows them to continue as though they do not matter. He pays little attention to the ongoing Splintral struggles for power, knowing that they are truly unimportant and that to face the great enemy that comes, these people must find some degree of unity or else.
Pastimes - The Peakrider spends the majority of his time alone, rapt in endless memories of friends lost, enemies slain and people controlled. With so many millennia of conquest and suffering weighing so heavily on his Angel’s heart, the Peakrider never sleeps or finds true rest. He longs for a hobby, or some simple joy to pull his mind away from the past. But he is forever torn between the difficult duty that is before him, and the endless trail of blood that follows his feet.
