WINNING STREAK ON STEEMMONSTERS AND OTHER INANITIES

So some few hours ago, I played some steemmonsters on my phone and lost only one game, the first game. 😂 I had a winning streak, can you believe it? It's funny because I have no idea of what I am doing beyond mashing some cards together and keeping my fingers crossed.

I won those games because my opponents were either complacent or they didn't pick the right cards to duel with. I was playing on a quest, so it was fun to see that I won a new Death monster card; Vampire, today for getting into the bronze level. I think the death monster cards are quite superb. I wonder if i get to use them in the next question. Yes I have been a novice for months now until my winning streak today. Isn't that something? I also got some DEC tokens.

When I saw the DEC tokens increase on my stats, I suddenly realised the vital importance of what the blockchain technology especially chains like steem is offering to the world. They have given a new meaning to making money doing what you love. They are changing how labour can be perceived, how wages can be perceived, how money can be perceived and how skill can be perceived. In fact, they are turning laws on economics, labour, productivity, money, investment, etc upside down. By the end of this century, new textbooks would be needed to contain these new models.

If the blockchain technology goes mainstream and I am certain that it will, the civil service, private enterprise, the overall philosophy of work and pay would be overhauled. If I can be a gamer on my phone and earn enough to pay my bills and take care of a family, why will I be on the road for a week, hauling cargo from one part of the country to the other?

The steem blockchain has exploded but we are yet to hear the sound or feel the tremor of the explosion. The shock waves will toss people about when it reaches here. Now there's so much going on, palcoin is up and running, rewarding content, adding more value to the work of content creators, there's DEC on Splinterlands as well, rewarding avid gamers for their time and efforts. More and more projects and communities are keying in to this beautiful ecosystem (as Tarazkp loves to call the steem chain) we have here. There's sportshub whose token is on sale now ran by @ejemai, whose STACH community has supported lots of content creators over the past few years and others that I do not know of yet.

The world is evolving and we are at the new frontier. Lots of folks have packed their bags and gone back to the world of promisory notes and government manipulation because it is comfortable, it is easy, it is tested and trusted. Being here is hard, I know this very well but is it worth it? Yes! I have never stood for a cause for long because I have issues with paying attention for long periods but I have managed to stick to this world that I sometimes find puzzling, for this long because for the first time, I have found a cause that makes sense.

I think my cards need upgrades. I don't have money to buy so I need to play more. I will try to get into all the different parts of the steem chain that I understand, while I still can. In the future when the dust of change has settled, we would find a niche and build on it.

With the coming of HF 21, more changes will occur and these changes will affect content creation and interaction on this platform. Everything is suddenly making sense and the picture is forming out of the mists now. Where are you? What are you doing to ensure your name is in the right place when the story of the blockchain revolution is being told? 😂 Ignore me, I tend to polish and burnish things into a shine.

Well enough of my natter. I don't think my opinions are of interest to you this lovely Friday morning. In 19 hours or so, a new quest will begin on steemmonsters and I am going to go back there, without a clue as to what I am doing and if the gods are kind, I would kick some butts and make some coins.
