My exclusive interview with Philipe Coutinho

 Philippe Coutinho didn’t get the chance to represent Brazil during their 2014 World Cup on home soil. 

 Now, the crafty Brazilian midfielder has become one of the best things to happen to Liverpool in years. The 25 year old is hoping he can turn his current form for Liverpool to his national team Brazil.

Brazil were the first team to qualify for next years World Cup in Russia, and Coutinho is a definite to be there.We had the opportunity to speak with Coutinho this week, and you could tell how much this World Cup campaign means to him. 

“All I’m thinking about is the national team now,” said Coutinho.

“We’re getting closer and closer to the World Cup so i’m really preparing my mind for this important moment of my career.”

The Brazil Argentina match saw over 95,000 people. There may not have been many goals, but it’s a night that will live long in the memory for the Brazilian.

“It was a beautiful game.”

“I was very surprised and very happy because of the amount of people there and the show that was done prior to the game.”

Coutinho on Liverpool FC:

“Now that we are qualified for Europe I will be expecting us to be playing Champions League at a really high level.” 

It’s clear Coutinho has turned a blind eye to all the transfer rumors, as he prepares mentally for his World Cup preparations with Brazil.
