Liverpool's £55.5m offer for Monaco's French star Lemar has been turned down. However Liverpool have been able to agree a fee and sign long term target Naibi Keita for around £48m after triggering his release clause. RB Leipzig boss was correct in saying that he would not be sold this summer as the deal will officially go through at the start of July 2018.

Liverpool's failure maybe due to PSG's raid for Kylian Mbappe in a deal worth around £132m for the 18 year old who has already been capped at international level for France. With Monaco trying desperately to retain their young stars. In other news Monaco have signed Stefan Jovetic from Sevilla and have handed Mbappe's number 10 shirt further signalling his potential exit.

Liverpool maybe missing out on Lemar but it looks increasingly likely that Coutinho will be stay as talk with Barcelona over a potential move will take some time to broker and time is running out before deadline day. Leicester's move for West Brom's Jonny Evans look to be off after a £27m offer was turned down. The former Manchester United star has become a unit at the back and was key part in last seasons record breaking defense and points total last season.
