I mainly post about crypto but time to time I will post different content that interests me.
I have been reading from a number of sources that Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon FC is very close to signing a deal at Arsenal!
This in my opinion will be a good a very good signing for Arsenal as Lacazette has proven himself to be a prolific goal scorer,
something that Arsenal are in DESPERATE need of!
His stats:
2014-15: 31 goals in 40 apps
2015-16: 23 goals in 44 apps
2016-17: 37 goals in 45 apps
We currently do not have anyone putting up these kinds of numbers :(
As a loyal Arsenal fan I have my hands and toes crossed that this deal goes through.
In order to end our title drought we need a high caliber striker and this guy fits the bill!
What do you guys think?
Is he good enough to take Arsenal to the top of the premier league or should Arsenal be focusing on another striker?
From the info gathered the deal is going to be close around the £50million mark, is that a good price for him?

That's a great strike rate for Lacazette.
However I think Arsenal really need a ball winning midfielder, someone like Kante for Chelsea, or Roy Keane the ex UTD player, who can win the ball when their backs are against the wall, then feed it to their vast array of talented players such as Sanchez.
Too often I've seen Arsenal lose games because they have lacked this kind of player.

yes I agree with that.
we really shot ourselves in the foot by not closing the deal on Kante last season.
Guys like Coquelin, Xhaka and Elneny are what we are working with atm imo Xhaka is the best in that position but Kante is still the better player.
Xhaka had a good end to the season but is still a walking yellow card on a good day.
Hopefully it will be addressed in this transfer window but knowing Mr Wenger I wouldn't hold my breath mate haha

Shame didn't get Kante. Wenger is great at spotting attacking players, Thierry Henry, Sanchez etc but he struggles sometimes to buy great defensive players. Still good season winning the FA cup this year against the odds.

Winning the FA cup to me was good but its nothing to be celebrated thats much as it counts for nothing pretty much.
I need to see Arsenal actually challenging for the title! :)

Lacazette is a marvelous player and he could help every team so is a good deal for Arsenal but stil won`t bring them the top three.

we need someone like him at Liverpool as well. We haven't replaced Luis Suarez yet! Well that i don't see that happening anytime soon. Sad but true. Hope Luis snubs Arsenal and Liverpool can sneak in and get the deal done.
