This weekend the World Championships Allround take place at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Because this stadium is not roofed the weather plays an important role.

Should we still do this because of the nostalgic feeling or should these kinds of tournaments only take place indoors to prevent unfair competition?

I'm curious what you think!

Yes, yes, YES.
This was how it should be always. Tuff weather and conditions. And of course a Dutch champion 😀

Personally I also feel for the argument that the competition should be as fair/equal as possible. However this kind of atmosphere once every while is also a nice variety.
Dutch champion is a must of course!

Only indoors! When the conditions are not the same for everybody its not sure the best one wins.

Agree that the best one should win and conditions should be equal. Maybe you can do Mass start competitions outdoors, because everybody starts at the same moment ans the conditions then are the same.

I don't see a problem unless it only rains on one track.

Sometimes is rains in one pair and not in the other one. The same might occur with the wind.
