JAKARTA - Male doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi expects the drawing process conducted by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) in every tournament is done openly.
"This is an input for BWF, if an important tournament like the All England, it's good that the drawing process is broadcast live via live stream or witnesses," Herry said in a statement from the Central Board of Badminton Association of Indonesia (PP PBSI) received in Jakarta on Monday.
Herry revealed in the All England 2018 badminton tournament, there is something unfavorable for the men's doubles Indonesia, where at least three Red and White pair must beat each other in the early round of the tournament.
In the All England 2018, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo must beat each other in the first round with Angga Pratama / Rian Agung Saputro.
After that, the winners among them will likely face another Indonesian partner, Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto if they succeeded in subverting the Malaysian duo Ong Yew Sin / Teo Ee Yi in the first round.
