I'm not usually a fan of women's tennis, I find compared to the men's game the matches are listless and too one sided with Serena Williams' dominance overpowering the game to its detriment.
However this final was a breath of fresh air.
Fantastic comeback from Ostapenko showing real character and grit, a well deserved victory and a great spectacle for the crowd and tv viewer.
