England's race for Top 4

Good post and you raise a great point about squad depth.

Liverpool in my opinion have the second best team in the league behind Man City but they don't have the depth of their rivals. My fear is we could run out of steam in the run in but I hope they can hang in and end inside the top 4.

It's going to be a close call. We'll definitely know more at the end of this month once the transfer window closes, but even without Coutinho, I think Liverpool have enough in attack. The question has always been the defense.

The thing is that with their style of play it's going to be tough for the same players to keep it up all season. Salah, Firmino and Mane are world class. But beyond that when Sturridge, Solanke and Ings have to play it's a huge drop off.

Such a tough predicament. The balancing act between fixtures. Risking the Champions League in order to get top 4, for the whole point of getting into the Champions League, lol

Yeah, I do suppose that we could always simply win the Champions League. Then it won't matter as much if we miss out of the top 4.

Mate, they just might win it.

I hope so!
