Cristiano Ronaldo is not a person born as an Arab nation. But the 33-year-old is eloquent when greeting in Arabic 'Assalamualaikum.'
The moment came when Ronaldo met one of the Russian wrestlers. The fighter in question is Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov got an invitation from Real Madrid to see the match when Los Blancos face Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday (10/2) yesterday. After the match, Nurmagomedov got a chance to meet with CR7.
The meeting was then recorded in a video that then spread on social media. As uploaded in Instagram Nurmagomedov account, Ronaldo speaks fluent Arabic.
"Assalamualaikum," said Ronaldo.
The greeting then got the answer heard from the people around him, including from Nurmagomedov.
In addition to getting a prayer of safety from Ronaldo, Nurmagomedov also received a jersey prize that was signed directly by the mega Real Madrid star.
As for playing against Sociedad, Ronaldo himself scored three goals to deliver his team won 5-2. This is his first hat-trick of the season.
