Before this bout was scheduled Ja Kiatphontip was arguably Jonathan's toughest test and saw him lose a close decision, since then Jonathan went on to score a KO of the night against Keith McLachlan which propelled him to the number 1 spot in the UK's 59 kg rankings.

Superlek has more than 326 fights, 231 have been wins and 96 have been loses, so this is someone who has been there; done it and even got the T-shirt when it comes to the sport of Muay Thai.

Jonathan Haggerty vs Isaac Araya

With the announcement of Jonathan's bout in October it is easy to forget that Jonathan has another bout scheduled before his big showdown with Superlek and that is against Isaac Araya from Spain and is for the WBC International title on May 26th.
Isaac is someone i had not heard of before but after looking at some of the footage of his previous fights it is obvious that he is a very seasoned and adept fighter who seems to favour leg kicks.

The below footage shows that Isaac is someone not to be looked past as he takes on Jonathans previous opponent Keith McLachlan which saw Keith win a very close decision.

Like i said Isaac is not to be looked past but the below footage shows Jonathan in camp and he is looking sharp, my guess would be that Jonathan puts on a masterclass and adds yet another belt to his trophy cabinet.
