The Algerian Football Federation has asked FIFA committees to open an investigation into the events of Cameroon's match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to an official communication, the Algerian Football Federation lodged an appeal against what it considered to be "gross arbitration, which was distorted as a result of the match between Algeria and Cameroon played on 29 March 2022 at the stadium of the martyr Mustafa Shakir Baleida."
The same source added that "the Algerian Federation is determined to activate all legally permitted means of restoring its rights and rematch under conditions that include impartiality and impartiality of arbitration."
