Unbelievable news from FIA - they want six miles special stages?!?

Hi, Steemers!

World Rally Championship season for 2017 is over. We know who is the driver's champ and we know the champion for manufacturers. At the end of every cycle it's time to see the results - what was good and what was bad. WRC chief J.Mahonen today said something unbelievable - he wants to see six miles special stages for the future. Who want to see that?! We drive even longer stages at the sprint rallies. If WRC rally has 350kms, then yo must have 35 special stages!? Unbelievable. 

He also said that this would attract more action on social medias. That make some sense. He found that if part of special stages is less then 25% of complete itinerary. That's also good decision. 

But, special stages on WRC rallies should be much longer. Ten or fifteen years ago Safari Rally in Kenya had special stages longer of 100kms ON OPEN ROADS. 

And now we could have six miles stages. Let we see what future brings.
