WRC specs for 2022 announced

Hi, Steemers!

It seems that FIA, together with some of the WRC teams, wants to reduce costs for the cars from 2022 because with electrification, costs of the car should be around 1m€.

This way costs could be around half a million e which is still very big money impossible to find for some talented privateer so they should stick to R5 cars if it is possible somehow.

FIA revealed some of the stuff that should be common for all the teams involved in the sport so it could be interesting how the things could go and in which direction.

I believe that we could have some other brand in the sport in the next five years and it was lot talk about Subaru's comeback but I doubt that.

Anything is possible, we just have to be optimistic.

      i guess so. it seems that they want as much as possible technology from R5 cars which are much cheaper then WRC cars. They also want electric units from the same manus for 2020 to make it cheaper. To be honest, who would buy WRC cars for 750 000€ at the moment and the car is so expensive to maintain?! They must make cheaper with standard parts as much as they can...
