Women Position In The World Of Sport

The 20th century, women participation in sport has increase exponentially. Recently the women world cup in football came to an end and it was an interesting moment. The first Olympic games was with no record of women which happened to be in year 1896 but now we have women participating in Olympic games though there are still limitation in their numbers.

When you consider women position is the world of sport, men believes we have little power when it comes to executive decision making and thereby position men at the strategy position. What a great lifting for the women to see an Africa woman to compete and proof her worth in the world of sport to become the first secretary general in FIFA governing council. This shows that women are taking position.

It is my believe that, more challenge from woman to man is on the way. As the record in the numbers of women participation in sport increases it will activate more position within the governing council and I know women are respected. Just like I mentioned the first female secretary general Fatma Samoura came from Senegal and lives in Nigeria.

One of the sport many female like to match is long tennis and this is the only sport Forbee recorded woman with highest paid. Serena Williams is the only female athlete to enter the list of highest paid as she claimed number 63 out of 100.

This is a short post on how women are really fighting hard to take position where men are.
