The atmostphere is electric and regardless of being an Australian stadium, there are plenty of Kiwi supporters

Wet hands

The shitty weather wasn't going to stop us enjoying a sensational match filled with big hits, bruised ego's, and absolute determination to win. Australia set out aggressively and fearlessly right from the sound of the whistle and after some back and forth jostling, Reece Hodge, made an amazing intercept running 67 metres downfield and scoring right between the uprights. The easily converted try sparked fire in the bellies of Australia and despite being down six points for almost the remainder of the half, the Wallabies came back as the clock closed in. One minute left and Israel Folau storms over the All Blacks try line, an unsuccessful conversion attempt finished the half.

Half Time Score

AU 12-13 NZ

Australia dominating the lineout all game

Aimless Kicking

Handling errors come thick and fast for both teams while NZ continues to kick away their possession failing to achieve any advantage from this. It's 16 tough minutes before Australia's pressure finally results in a very wide try by Koroibete crashing over the line, NZ's Mckenzie, being no match for the power and speed of this big man. NZ hadn't given up and mount an intense six-minute onslaught, definitely not the prettiest attack we have seen from the boys in black but nonetheless it resulted in a sideline run by Rieko Ioane, scoring his ninth try in just ten games. McKenzie failed to convert the kick into points which would have tied the match 20 all and now with seven and half minutes there is only two points in it. Both Australia and NZ have won games with less time and bigger deficits. But it was too little, too late for New Zealand, Reece Hodge kicks a massive 55-metre penalty giving Australia the well-deserved win.
