Hello friends of Steemit especially to the football fans and their great and amazing stories, I hope you are well and have had a great week. In this opportunity I will tell you about an anecdote of one of the great coaches of football with a great track record for outstanding clubs around the world.
His name is Manuel Luis Pellegrini Ripamonti or better known as The Enginner Pellegrini was born on September 16, 1953 in Santiago, Chile, is an ex-footballer and current soccer coach.

Pellegrini was a player from the Universidad de Chile, who faced Cobreandino. In an attacking move the goal of the U. of Chile was attacked, after a clearance of the goalkeeper Pellegrini decided to clear the ball head, but a young man appeared in his back, jumping half a meter more than he, taking the ball and finishing off the goal with his head, scoring in front of his eyes the goal of the victory of the Cobreandino.

Pellegrini had been playing for 14 years in Chile's biggest club, at 35 years old age became his enemy, and after that painful moment, that an even shorter young man will beat you in salting for a ball, he thought it was time to retire as a player. In addition the club was going through an economic downturn and he had a university career. It was then that he retired from the fields to study civil engineering.
It was the saddest moment of his life in his career as a footballer, despite devoting two years to his studies, he could never get the great love of his life, football, out of his head. It was at university where he was awakened to the vocation of training. He began as technical director of the Universidad de Chile, then crossed the borders to Ecuador and Argentina. In a short time he became one of the most respected and sought-after coaches of the moment. Later he flew to Europe to manage big clubs such as Villarreal, Real Madrid, Malaga and Manchester City.
Some time later, something happened that I never imagined could happen, he found out who was that boy who years before had motivated his retirement from the fields as a professional football player. Well, he ended up being nothing more and nothing less than the great Iván Zamorano, another Chilean footballer, who would later become a football legend.

Pellegrini never forgets that fateful day in 1987, when two stars saw each other and without knowing it at that moment would mark a great chapter in the history of football, each one on his own path.
Today Engineer Pellegrini as is recognized worldwide, is an award-winning football technician, currently runs West Ham United, maintaining an impeccable career as a technical director over the years.

Greetings!

congratz he is a good coach
