Bangladesh women's cricket team is not their own
history. Because Bangladesh women's cricket team lost to United States by a
huge margin i.e. 260 runs in Bangladesh World Cup qualifier.
This is the first time a female cricketer has scored a
century in Bangladesh. Bangladesh also collected 322 runs in ODIs.
But sadly, the United States has not yet been
recognized by the ICC ICC Women's Cricket Team. Due to which the name of this
match will not be written in the international register. Bangladesh women's
cricket team could not hit a six for 322 runs in this match.
Bangladesh v. United States:
The second consecutive victory of Bangladesh women's
cricket team. Bangladesh women's cricket lost to Pakistan in the first match
and to the United States by a huge margin in the second match. Murshida Khatun
and Sarmin Akhter, the first two openers, put on 96 runs. Sultana Tornado was
then dismissed for a short innings. However, Sharmin Akhter saved a big partner
with Farzana Haque, where he partnered for 136 runs.
Bangladesh women's cricket team lost the toss and
elected to bat. Bangladesh women's cricket team scored 322 runs for the loss of
5 wickets in 50 overs. Sarmin Akhter scored the highest run but was unbeaten.
Sharmin Akhter was unbeaten on 130 off 141 balls with
11 fours.
Murshid Khatun was dismissed for 47 off 57 balls with
five boundaries.
Sultana was dismissed for 33 off 26 balls with five
boundaries.
Farzana Haque made 6 off 72 balls with 7 fours.
In the end, Lata Mandal was unbeaten on 16 off 10
balls with two boundaries and two fours.
In reply, USA were all out for 52 runs in 30.3 overs.
The top two batsmen were Norris and Sindhu Sriharsha for 16 and 15 runs
respectively.
Bowling Bangladesh has done great. Has bowled well in
the beginning.
Salma Khatun took 2 wickets for 10 runs in 10 overs
with 5 overs remaining.
Romana Ahmed took 2 wickets for 11 runs in 2 overs
with 2 medal overs.
