The most pronounced mma journalist - Ariel Helwani shared that he learned from reliable sources that Blagoi Ivanov had split with WSOF where he was the heavyweight champion and signed a contract with the UFC. His debut is expected to be in the summer. The bulgarian fighter is now recovering from a torn meniscus operation. 31-year-old Ivanov is one of the best in the heavyweight category and has proven it throughout his 18-year career. His record to date is 16-1-1, 6 of his victories knocked out, and another 6 - with a podium. His only loss was to Alexander Volkov (who recently knocked out UFC veteran Fabricio Werdum) in a Bealtor tournament. Moreover it is rummored that Baga's UFC debut will be against Junior Dos Santos, one of the organizations' top fighters and two-time heavyweight champion.
