Henrikh Mkhitaryan eventually became an Arsenal player and some said it was a transfer that should have been realized for a long time. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has long admired the former Borussia Dortmund star, but Wenger is hooked not only by his outstanding technical ability on the pitch that has scored 23 goals and recorded 32 assists in his last season at Westfalenstadion.
Mkhitaryan's intellectual ability is one aspect that Wenger always looks for when bringing in new players. The 29-year-old star earned a diploma from the Institute of Physical Culture in Armenia and also studied economics at the St. Petersburg Institute - the latter being the same direction as Wenger, a man with an economics degree. The Armenian captain also mastered English, German, French, Russian, Armenian, Portuguese, and Italian.
