Tottenham vs Chelsea: Four Players Can Make A Difference

in sports •  7 years ago  (edited)

Seeing the quality of both players, Tottenham vs Chelsea is the most exciting game of the week. This game promises quite a lot of goals and certainly an exciting match.

So many things can happen in the game later, either big victory, rain goals, rain cards or anything else. Here are four things that could potentially happen in the Spurs counter Chelsea:

  • Tiemoue Bakayoko

Transferred to the value of 40 million pounds from AS Monaco in the summer of 2017, Tiemoue Bakayoko can not be played in the Premier League premiere counter Burnley due to injury. However, he is rumored to have gradually recovered and most likely can play in the game counter Spurs.

If he can be played, it is certainly a fresh breeze for Antonio Conte who was in crisis in midfield after Cesc Fabregas on the red card and lost Nemanja Matic who moved to Manchester United.

  • Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is rumored to have started training with the team although he reportedly has not recovered 100 percent. Previously he suffered an injury in June 2017 ago while defending the Belgian national team. Considering the importance of the Spurs counter action and Chelsea need three points, there is the possibility Eden Hazard will be forced to play by Conte, at least get a minute to play.

  • Harry Kane

Has scored 99 goals in all events for Tottenham Hotspur, but none of those goals came in August. It is also potentially solved in Chelsea counter game, because on the other hand, Harry Kane is very sharp in the Derby Derby London. He has scored 21 goals in 30 Premier League matches with West Ham United becoming his favorite victim with five goals.

  • Alvaro Morata

Scored one goal and one assist on his debut counter counter Burnley, Alvaro Morata looks quite promising to play since the first minute counter Spurs. With an instant contribution to the Premier League's inaugural match, it is not impossible Morata became a hero of Chelsea victory at home to Spurs in the game later.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, I think they had a terrible mercato.

Antonio Conte is for sure a fantastic coach but he has terribly handled his team by ostracising Diego Costa the way he did. Selling Matic was another huge mistake, especially because he was sold to a competitor. We already see his impact at Manchester United and how Chelsea midfielder has become less compact. Matic - Kanté - Fabregas was a good Defense/Box-to-box/Offensive midfield, really well balanced.

Diego Costa is being substituted by Batshuayi for the moment but the Belgian is far away from the level Diego has. Morata is coming but I am still not a 100% convinced he will be the top striker the media think he his.

This mercato + a start with CS & 1st game of PL is bad, if they lose today players' trust in Conte wil be lower than ever since he joined the club.
