We don't do moral victories around here. The Lakers got beat, plain and simple. But with that being said there were some positives that can be taken from the game. First the young Lakers played really hard and competed last night. Oh wait, that should be a given. Nevermind. On to the negatives.
Luke Walton.
I understand that you are fighting for your guys. However, you cannot get tossed from this game. Your voice is the most important voice in that huddle during time outs. Or at least it should be. Your team needed you down the stretch and you were not there. Too busy being all up in your feelings.
Brian Shaw:
Don't even get me started on that dude. While in Denver he proved that he could not coach nor develop players. And yet there he was guiding the Laker meltdown. Why are we not surprised?
The Meltdown:
I know Lonzo was not available, but why was KCP in the game? You couldn't find somebody at the end of the bench, or in the stands to put in? I know at least one of the Hot Dog vendors should have been available. Somebody, anybody but him.
I am going to end this post here. Because dwelling on the game and the woulda coulda's is getting me agitated all over again.
Awesome
