Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Los Blancos silence Barca 3-1

Barcelona must recognize Real Madrid's victory at home in the Spanish League continued party. Starting with two quick goals, Madrid silenced Barcelona 3-1.
The El Clasico duel between Barcelona vs Real Madrid was held at the Camp Nou, Saturday (24/10/2020) evening WIB. The goal was created in the fifth minute, when Federico Valverde gave Madrid the lead.

Barcelona appeared more dominant in the second half and appeared promising at the beginning of this period. But the penalty is the momentum for Madrid.

Sergio Ramos brought Madrid back ahead in the 63rd minute. Pressing Barca ended up getting another crushing blow when Luka Modric sealed Madrid's win in the 90th minute.

With this result, Madrid rose to the top of the standings with 13 points from six matches. While Barcelona stuck at number 10 with five points.

Barcelona immediately tried to kick off in the third minute through Ansu Fati. Fati almost got a through ball, but Thibaut Courtois readily read the situation and secured the situation.

GOAL! Real Madrid took the lead in the fifth minute. Karim Benzema poked the ball from the right and was accepted by Federico Valverde who stabbed in the middle. Calmly, the Madrid midfielder beat Norberto Neto.

Madrid counterattacked and Benzema got a chance. Neto cleared his shot.

Messi stabs into the Madrid penalty box in the 28th minute and falls down due to a tackle from Casemiro. Video Assistant Referee (VAR) reviewed the incident and stated that Casemiro's tackle was clean.

Alba's stab on the left was again a threat to Madrid in the 40th minute. But this time the pass was too close to Courtois.

Gerard Pique blocked Vinicius' shot in injury time. Meanwhile, Barcelona's quick attack ran aground because Philippe Coutinho's bait for Fati was anticipated by Courtois. The first half ended.

Barcelona created opportunities in the 52nd minute. Fati shot wide after receiving feedback from Messi.

Barcelona continued to press, but it was Madrid who was more threatening. In the 86th minute, Vazquez's cross is caught by Kroos and his shot is hard-pressed by Neto.

From the resulting corner, Kroos' cross was met by Ramos with a volley that was still right at the goalkeeper. Varane's continued efforts went wide.

GOAL! Madrid scored their third goal in the 90th minute. Rodrygo escaped and was left to face the goalkeeper, but Neto managed to block. It was just that the ball rolled towards Modric and he calmly slammed it into the net.
