Kershaw Knives

Kershaw Knives was founded in 1974. This US based company was"founded in 1974 to design and manufacture tools that knife users would be proud to own, carry, and use." They make a wide variety of knives including some fantastic spring assist knives, pocket folders, and hunting knives. Recently, they entered the automatic knife arena and have produced some spectacular auto knives built in the US. One of my favorite carry knives is the Kershaw Launch 4.

My Favorite Things

My very favorite thing about this knife is the size. Small enough to fit nicely in your pocket without hogging a bunch of space, the Launch 4 is still big enough to get everyday cutting done easily. The push button action is super fast and the lock up is tight.

With a 154CM stainless steel blade, this knife can last a lifetime with proper care.

I also love the shape of the handle. When I first picked mine up, I was nervous the handle would be too small. Not so. The handle shape lends itself to a comfortable grip and it allows for solid hold on the knife without having to grip with too much force.

The blade cuts everything I throw at it like a boss. I have only had to sharpen it once over the past year because the blade holds a spectacular edge.
