Well the trade deadline for all NFL teams has come and gone and today the Broncos parted ways with 9 year starter Demaryius Thomas. Drafted in 2010 after trading down, the Broncos picked up one of the best wide receivers in the NFL draft. His last three years have been lacking In my opinion but he still managed 1,000 yards or close to it. He will be a Bronco for life but, it’s time to move on. His salary of 14M is just too high for his production and with the emergence of rookie WR Courtland Sutton, the Broncos payroll has suddenly gotten much lighter. I am thankful for the 4th round draft pick we got from the Houston Texans in return but, I will never forget the Super Bowl you helped us win DT.....good luck in Houston, hope you get another legit shot at a ring.

As a broncos fan i am very grateful for thomas. I always thought of him as the ticket to the p.ayoffs as he did for the broncos. I wish him good luck and to end with a great team. But now it time for courtland ssutton. 😎😎😎😎😎

I really thought the Texans would make a dumb trade involving Jadeveon Clowney and picking up a guard or tackle plus a draft pick. Looks like they are cool with Deshaun scrambling and if that goes south, we might have to take a liking to Weeden or Webb by the end of the season. Demaryius Thomas is a great asset and hopefully add some spark to an offense that was still trying to find it's rhythm. I'm all for scoring more points than the opponent but Watson needs to be THAT GUY to lead this team. Demaryius just might find a good home and fit with Houston and also just at the right time for the Texans.

I don't know, it just feels wrong to end it by unceremoniously dumping him for only a 4th rounder. DT was a great player, and it's sad to see that he'll most likely dumped from his Texas rental sometime after Fuller returns.
We all prayed for the Broncos as they mourned the sad loss of Chad Kelley, but, tragedy has struck once again. We wish DT well in his new endeavor, forever surrounded by fans mindlessly singing Travis Scott. He will be very missed. RIP
