Broncos Boss MUST be right this offseason. **John Elway**

Denver Broncos Boss John Elway certainly has some huge decisions to make in the next 60 days. With the April NFL draft looming, the free agent market is heating up all around the league. Elway signed Baltimore QB Joe Flacco to start next season and publicly has said he hopes Case Keenum stays and plays out the second year of his contract in a back up role. With all that talk and moves already made it still makes me wonder if we STILL might take a QB at #10 in the draft. There has even been rumors of trading with Arizona to acquire Josh Rosen.

The good news is two of the tough decisions are already out of the way. Defensive lineman Derrick Wolfe has his option picked up by Denver today which will keep him here in the Orange and Blue. I like this move because when healthy, Wolfe plays like a top 20 interior lineman in the league. He has shown flashes of dominance, especially when it comes to knocking down passes at the line from opposing quarterbacks. Under Coach Fangio....I am looking for Wolfe to have is best year ever in Denver if he can stay healthy.

The Broncos also picked up WR Emanuel Sanders option, mostly because he is our best playmaker but also because our wide receiver room is extremely young and could use the veteran leadership, toughness and work ethic that Sanders provides. I was a little surprised by this because Sanders is due 12.5m this year and he’s fresh off a torn Achilles’ tendon in week 12 of last year. If he’s a full go with no slow down in speed, Sanders is as good as ANY free agent Veteran in the 12 million dollars range. Expect the Broncos to sign a wide out who can stretch the field with speed because Flacco has had the most success with the deep balls to receivers who can get behind defenders. My choice on the free agent list would be 3 yr Pro John Ross in Cincinnati, his speed is SICK but he had a bad case of the drops in 2018.

I’m glad these decisions are not on my shoulders because when your wrong, everyone wants to hang you for it. I guess such is life in the world of professional football General Managers.

The Broncos need to improve a lot. It will take more than a competent draft and some sound FA signings to move these mustangs up to the same echelon as say the Chiefs, Chargers, Pitts (Which is imploding so far this off-season) Baltimore and of course New England.

i think the Denver Broncos are doing well with their preparation and recent addition of good players into the squad .And i also believe this year will be a great year of achievement for the Denver Broncos
