Where are the tickets purchased?
The process of selling them will be done through the official website of FIFA, www.fifa.com/tickets. Then there will also be a last minute sales phase, in which we can buy them in the centers of the FIFA headquarters in Russia.
The draw for the group stage will be on December 1, 2017. In relation to this draw, a pre-sale was made, then a general ticket sales phase begins, and finally last-minute sales during the championship.
When can I buy tickets?
1.Presale tickets (before the draw)
This stage has already started in 2016, and the tickets go between 850 and the modest sum of 2 million dollars! This pre-sale is done through what are called Hospitality Packages, through a company called "Match Hospitality". Many travel agencies are also offering it.
These are luxury tickets, with access to VIP areas, boxes, and in some cases, tickets insured to all matches played by your team, including semifinals.
2. First phase of general ticket sales.
This first phase of ticket sales is divided into two, the first period runs from September 14, 2017 to October 12, 2017. In this first period, fans can make their ticket request through the web. No matter the day it is done, that is, if they do it on the first or last day, it does not affect anything. Everyone has the same possibilities and chances. If the number of requests exceeds the quotas, a random draw will be made. All applications will receive a response before November 16, whether they will receive an entry or their application was denied.
The second stage of this phase ends with another period that goes between November 16 and 28, where the tickets will be awarded to the applicants.
3.Second stage of general ticket sales.
This phase is also divided into two stages. After the final draw of the FIFA World Cup, which will be as we mentioned on December 1, 2017, this second phase of sales will begin, with a random draw period that will be from December 5, 2017 to January 31 of 2018, and another that will attend the order of receipt of orders, from March 13 to April 3, 2018.
All tickets that were purchased during the first and second phase of sale will be given free of charge to those who purchased them in the weeks prior to the World Cup. Deliveries are not expected to start before April / May 2018, although this is subject to change so we recommend checking the official website of the fifa more about the date.
4. Last minute sales phase.
It will be from April 18 to July 15, 2018, and will be addressed based on the order of the request. They can be purchased at FIFA sales points.
What are the accepted payment methods?
Credit card will be required, in this case VISA is accepted that is a member of the fifa. Then, a bank transfer will be accepted only for certain types of tickets (those that are downloadable tickets).
What tickets will be available for sale?
The entries will be divided by type of entry, and by categories. That is, I can buy any type of ticket in any of the categories mentioned, the prices will vary depending on both aspects.
Categories:
4 categories of tickets will be offered. The category 1 would be the most expensive, and logically are those that will be located in the best areas of the stadium. Categories 2 and 3 are those that will be in areas a little further away; and 4 is the cheapest but it's only for Russian residents (it has special prices that go from 1280 rubles, something like 22 dollars). A Russian resident would be one who resides in the country either permanently or temporarily, whether Russian national or from another country.
Types of tickets:
Tickets for individual matches. All tickets for a specific match that are available for all matches, from the inaugural to the final. These tickets are offered in categories 1 to 4.
Headquarters-specific subscriptions. Subscriptions for a specific stadium. These tickets are offered in categories 1 to 4, below we explain more about these subscriptions.
Fees by selection. They are fertilizers to follow a special selection. It is sold in category 1 to 3. Below we explain more about it.
Special access tickets. Are those tickets provided for people with reduced mobility, obesity or some type of disability. This type of tickets are limited (for a theme of how are the stadiums), so it is especially requested that they are not requested if it is not necessary. Take into account that at the time of entry they may request documentation from the applicant.
I leave the distribution of the different categories of tickets to the stadium where most games will be played, Luzhniki Moscow:
You can see the distribution for each stadium on the official FIFA website.
** How much does an entry cost? **
Tickets are sold in US dollars, an exception to the last hours sold in rubles.
Prices did not change based on the age of another condition, for example, there are no benefits or discounts for children, seniors or students.

Special subscriptions:
As I mentioned before, there are two types of special subscriptions, per seat or per team.
The tickets for a specific team (TST: Team Specific Tickets) are tickets to follow a specific selection. It is important to keep in mind that you will only include the matches that are included in the package you buy, since not all include all the matches. For example, the TST3 includes only 3 games of the group stage, and the TST7 includes all of the group stage, the eighth, the quarter, the semifinal and the final. This type of ticket guarantees that you will have if or if tickets for those instances. What happens if your team does not continue advancing until the final? You can choose another team and keep going to the matches, even to the final.
There are in addition to the equipment subscriptions other two types of special subscriptions related to a specific equipment, which are the Followers' Tickets (ST = Specific Tickets) and the Conditional Followers Tickets (CST = Conditional specific Tickets).
The entrances of followers are the ones that assure you tickets for the matches of your team only for the group stage, and the Conditional Supporters is the one that assures you tickets for matches that can be played by your team if it is progressing in the different phases; it would include matches to eighth, quarters, semifinal, match for third and final (4 matches). In case your team does not classify you get back what you paid because you lose that conditional right, the only thing that you discount is an administrative charge of 10 dollars.
Specific Venue Subscriptions (VST: Venue Specific Tickets) are tickets for the matches of a specific venue. They include the games of the group stage, with the exception of the inaugural, round of 16 and the match for the third place, which are held at the venue chosen.
I hope the information is useful…
