Hello again fellow steemians and welcome to another one of my fantastic adventures. I love to watch sports, from football to basketball, tennis to badminton, golf to baseball and etcetera. The main reason why I love to watch sports is because the beauty of it, the teamwork, their sportsmanship though there were few un-sportsmanship acts, still, it doesn’t influence the whole sports at all. This time around, I am going to write about a legend that was born in an arena that was controlled by African-American players and through it all, he managed to fight his way to the top. He is none other than Larry Bird an NBA Hall of Famer and a legend.

Born in December 1956, Larry Joe Bird or also known as Larry Bird was a former NBA player that played for Boston Celtics in 1979 up until 1992. Although he was drafted in 1978 NBA draft, he insists on playing his last season at the Indiana State University where he led them to the NCAA title game. The Boston Celtics immediately become a title contender since the arriving of Larry Bird in Celtics. Larry Bird eventually helped the Boston Celtics to win the NBA Championship in 1981, 1984, and in 1986.

I have to say that Larry Bird is one of my favorite basketball players. The way he fights his way to get the rebound, and the way he shoots the ball certainly amazes me. He has one of the deadliest shooting skills or I would call him a sharpshooter. It’s like he never misses a shot every time he releases his shoot, kind of like the ball and the rim have a magnet attached to it hahaha. Here are some of his achievement that proves you all that he is one of the greatest NBA players is that he won NBA Most Valuable Player 3 times in a row in 1984 up until 1986, a two times NBA Finals Most Valuable Player, 12 times NBA All-Star, and the list goes on.
