Premier League Week 2 Predictions
by David An
Swansea City vs. Manchester United
Swansea have lost Sigurdsson to Everton and Llorente to injury. It's hard to see where the goals will come from. A comfortable victory for
Manchester United Bournemouth vs. Watford
Last season the Cherries here a force at home as they cemented their place in the Premier League. Can't see that being disrupted by Watford this weekend.
Burnley vs. West Brom Albion
Fresh from a upset win against the champions I back Burnley to continue their form in front of their own fans.
Leicester City vs. Brighton Hove Albion
With Jamie Vardy scoring two goals last week despite their loss, look for the Foxes to beat the newly promoted team.
Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace
Liverpool will go into the game as favourites but Palace have been their bogey team. Liverpool old boy scored two against his old employees last time out. This will be anything but straight forward for the reds.
Southampton vs. West Ham
In the battle of mid table contenders I expect a draw. Both teams didn't score last week so the team that finds inspiration will prevail.
Stoke City vs. Arsenal
The team that's given a lot of troubles to Arsenal in the past with their physical style of play. Expect a physical contest to end in a draw.
Huddersfield Town vs. Newcastle
With Huddlesfield getting off to an excellent start last week I expect them to do well against a Newcastle team that got off to a shakey start.
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea
The blockbuster, you can't miss this game. With last seaon's 1 and 2 battling it out before they've hit top gear should be entertaining but you feel both teams will settle for a draw.
Manchester City vs. Everton
A stern test of their title credentials, this will be the kind of game they need to win to become Champions. Expect a tough test but the quality of Manchester City should see them home.
