Daniel Sturridge is an English professional footballer who plays for Liverpool Football Club in the English Premier League and the
English national team. He is a
striker, but sometimes resumes the role of a winger. Sturridge started his playing career at a very tender age of six at Cadbury Athletic a local club in England, a year later he moved to the youth academy of Aston Villa. He spent four years at Aston Villa and later moved to Coventry City, from there he joined Manchester City Academy at the age of 13.
In 2006, Daniel Sturridge made it into the senior club of Manchester City and made a trailing performance for 3 years. Between 2009-2013, Sturridge made his derbies for Chelsea. During his stay at Chelsea, he spent a year on a loan to Bolton Wanderers in 2011.
Form 2013 till now, Daniel Sturridge has been with the Liverpool Football Club. He has made outstanding performances in promoting the achievements of the Club.
Sturridge has represented England at all levels. He made 15 appearances and scored four goals for the under-21 team. He made his debut for England against Sweden on 15 November 2011 and was selected for the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2016.
