There are many benefits of biking and so we decided to do it and have a healthy lifestyle! Not only that we are having fun but also for fellowship and for good health and long life!
And so here are the benefits of doing biking or cycling!

Biking (Cycling) for Health and Fitness

They say that it you only need two to four hour a week to stay in good health

  1. A good muscle workout – cycling uses all of the major muscle groups as you pedal, that includes you feet, the body, the arms and even the neck muscles sometimes.
  2. Low Impact - unlike other exercise, biking gives you less strain in your body and so you will be able to do it consistently.
  3. Easy – as easy as ABC. And I remember me teaching myself learn how to do it when I’m still young and I was able to practice it and master it a bit in just a day and that’s not exaggeration and so unlike some other sports, biking or cycling does not require high levels of physical skill. Most people know how to ride a bike and, once you learn, you don’t forget - I never forget it.
  4. Good for strength and stamina – cycling increases stamina, strength and aerobic fitness. It only you have an exercise but it also increases metabolism and physical stamina and strength.
  5. As intense as you want – biking can be as moderate as a walk or as intense as gym work out. Depending on your need or wants you may do so. But I will warn you that you need to have a coach if you want to do it intense.
  6. A fun way to get fit – the adventure and joy of you getting out from coasting down hills and being outdoors means you are more likely to continue to cycle regularly because it is so much fun, compared to other physical activities that keep you indoors or require special times or places and sometimes can be very boring. But biking can bring to many places. And just an advice, if you want to do it more fun? Bring your friends with you!
  7. Time-efficient – as a mode of transport, cycling replaces sedentary (sitting). You can squeeze yourself also to the small gaps that the vehicles sometimes has and so you can go to your place in no time. But just a warning, if you are not professional then better not to do this because it is extremely dangerous. Just take it slowly, you will be able to go to your destination in time and you just save a penny! :-)
